The Route from Narita Airport to Odaiba(Access Guide)

There are two routes from Narita Airport to Odaiba: using the Narita Express Line or the Sōbu Line（Rapid）.

＜Route1＞　"Route using an express train"

Narita Airport Station ー（the Narita Express） → change trains at Tōkyō Station - (the Yokosuka Line) → change trains at Shimbashi Station ー （the Yurikamome） → Daiba Station

From Narita Airport Station to Tōkyō Station, take the Narita Express, an express train operated by JR East.
At Tōkyō Station, you can transfer to the Yokosuka Line on the same platform.

The time required from Narita Airport Station to Daiba Station on the Yurikamome Line is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.

＜Route2＞　"Route without using an express train"

Narita Airport Station ー （Sōbu Line(Rapid))）→ transfer at Shimbashi Station ー （the Yurikamome）→ Daiba Station

The Sōbu Rapid Line trains departing from Narita Airport Station bound for Zushi, Kurihama, or Ōfuna go directly to Shimbashi Station.
Please note that trains bound for Tōkyō require a transfer to the Yokosuka Line at Tōkyō Station, and trains bound for Chiba require a transfer to Sōbu Line(Rapid) at Chiba Station.

The time required from Narita Airport Station to Daiba Station is approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes.

You need to transfer from the Narita Express to the Yokosuka Line at Tokyo Station.
You can transfer from the Narita Express to the Yokosuka Line on the same platform. (*Except for some trains.)
The next stop after Tokyo Station is Shimbashi Station.

Here is how to transfer from the Yokosuka Line to the Yurikamome at Shimbashi Station.
The photo above shows the platform at Shimbashi Station.
After getting off at the platform, follow the yellow sign indicating the exit and go up the escalator.

From Shimbashi Station to Odaiba, use the Yurikamome transportation system.
Follow the blue sign indicating the Yurikamome.

To transfer to the Yurikamome, use the Shiodome underground ticket gate.

Since the Yurikamome line is not a JR East line, you will need to exit the JR East ticket gate before transferring to the Yurikamome Line.
Follow the signs and take the escalator up to the ground level, and you will see the Yurikamome ticket gates.

This card is valid for 28 days from the date of purchase, which is long enough for short-term visitors to use while traveling in Japan.

You can buy Welcome Suica from vending machines at Narita and Haneda airports.
You can also buy it at JREast Traveling Center and JAPAN RAIL CAFE in Tokyo Station.
There is also a “Welcome Suica Mobile” application that can be downloaded to your smartphone (with iOS).

Welcome Suica Mobile is an application that allows you to use Suica on your smartphone.
You can make and recharge Suica only by operating the app before and after entering Japan,without stopping at ticket counters or ticket machines at stations.
You can smoothly use Suica for transportation such as trains and buses, and for shopping.
Welcome Suica Mobile can be used for 180 days from the date of issue, which is longer than the card-type Suica.

Besides, Welcome Suica Mobile has a lot of useful functions that can be used only with the app.
For example, you can recharge Suica anytime and anywhere in Japan with your smartphone.
You can buy discount tickets with the app.
When riding the Shinkansen in the JR East Japan area, you can use your remaining Suica charge money to ride it without registering as a member.
You can search for sightseeing information, transfer information, train operation information, and so on.
With just one app, you can comfortably enjoy your trip in Japan.

We recommend using either the JR East Narita Express or the Sobu Rapid Line from Narita Airport to Odaiba.
