Toriou's subsidiaries, Rajic Co., Ltd., and Hanaji Seika Co., Ltd. at the Morioka City Central Wholesale Market are working together on an SDGs initiative.
By turning bananas that would otherwise be discarded due to various reasons into banana juice, they aim to reduce food waste.
※"Motteenee" is a local dialect word meaning "wasteful" or "don’t waste."
