Let's go to Sawara using Welcome Suica! Sawara is a town that flourished in the Edo period (1603-1867), about 200 years ago, and the historic townscape of Japan in the days of samurai still remains there.　 You can also experience traditional Japanese culture such as fireworks and festivals. It takes about 1 hour from Narita Airport to Sawara by train. It takes about 2 hours from Tokyo Station to Sawara by train. It is recommended to use the Narita Line of East Japan Railway when going to Sawara.
